This is how the Balanced Foodologist has a graduation party at 8.00 A.M.

Enrolling in Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) was not my first step nor will it be my last to build a business around my passion….

I first faced my fear of speaking in public in English on a topic I have no Master Degree in and that I had learned by self study and life experience up to that point.

I said to myself: “if I can do that, I can do anything”.

I spoke in Dubai and Bahrain. Was confronted with old images I made up on how a perfect life for me would look like. It was triggered by the surrounding of material wealth and wish to start earning money myself again.

I survived the week and stayed true to the path I was on. Not knowing how it would lead me to a source of income. However, I knew that sticking to my passion and purpose and keeping my health and lifestyle leading for every decision I make, I would get answers and opportunities along the way that would unify all.

Five days after returning from that international speaking trip, I joined the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. My reason for joining was to enlarge my English vocabulary, my overall knowledge, but in the end it mostly made me get clear on my specific area of expertise and create a structured coaching program. And last week I graduated!

Starting new things puts a lot of other things in motion as well. Before I knew it I was invited to go to New York by my mentor Rhonda Swan, where I had my own episode in the series Brand It. There I was able to express how I believe how there is no “1 size fits all” diet. That each of us has to find out which food is right for them based on their Unique Body Constitution taking their Current Condition into account.

Over the following months I coached several busy women. In a period of 3 to 6 months they transformed from being tired, overweight, struggling with food sensitivity, skin problems, fatigue and feeling generally stuck to feeling good about the way they look, improved their overall health, figuring out what really brings them joy and taking actions in areas they had no energy of time for exploring before.

Just by understanding their body constitution and which foods caused the imbalances in their body they where able to adjust their diet in small steps, by adding what was right for them to the meals they where eating.

They feel confident in any situation now, buying, cooking and ordering their meals. In any social settings they see possibilities to make choices that benefit them.

Last week, I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I celebrate my courage. That I stayed true to my passion and believe that all women can manage self care, have a spiritual practice & exercise, take care of their children, spend time with family and friends while running a household and earning an income.

I was able to in the last year, and studying at the IIN was not the only thing I did!

Because that’s what Integrative Nutrition is about, nourishing yourself and your loved ones all the way from food to the way to what you decide to spend your time on and what that brings you.

Their is nothing more fulfilling than seeing other women being capable of that as well.

Food can be used as the gateway to an energetic and fulfilling life. It is the way to take charge of your life, one bit at a time.
